I crave salty foods the way most people crave sweets so I am always looking for ways to cut back!

Re: http://www.wowredskins.com/blog/2012/02/01/spice-your-health-ingredients-enhance-both-flavor-and-health/

Thanks for the info Jane!! I have definitely underestimated the benefits of herbs, so this blog is very interesting. I bought some soup the other day that was full of spices like cumin, chili powder, and paprika. I began to question the label because I couldn't believe it only had 77mg sodium! Also, I don't know if this is just my taste, but if I add a lot of cinnamon to something it seems much sweeter and satisfying.

Re: http://www.wowredskins.com/blog/2012/02/01/spice-your-health-ingredients-enhance-both-flavor-and-health/

Thanks Jane! This is perfect timing every year my parents plant an herb garden and I definitely am going to be sending them a list of requests based on this information :)

Re: http://www.wowredskins.com/blog/2012/02/01/spice-your-health-ingredients-enhance-both-flavor-and-health/

I never knew about letting garlic sit for a bit! Thanks for the info. If anyone makes their own bread, fresh rosemary sprigs in the dough makes for great flavoring as well.
